Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways to be a Clemson Downs Volunteer. Volunteers assist in the Health Care Center, Memory Care and  Assisted Living in a variety of ways, such as providing assistance at mealtimes, companionship, entertainment, and a friendly welcome when visitors enter the facility.

Volunteering at the Health Care Center, Memory Care, and Assisted Living :

  • receptionist desk - greet visitors and other clerical duties
  • provide daily water for residents
  • assist with lunch or supper in the sunroom
  • play the piano for residents
  • ​visiting residents
  • assist with birthday parties, afternoon teas, and holiday programs
  • lead bible discussions, help with bingo and sing-a-longs
  • help residents to the dining room
  • assist with van outings

We offer many of our donated items on Ebay.  You can pay for items with Paypal or a credit card.  When using a credit card during checkout, a secure credit card checkout will automatically appear if eBay detects that the buyer doesn't have a PayPal account.

Need Help With Donating Items?

We can take many items including household and furniture. If you live at Clemson Downs,  the volunteers can help you when you move into or change apartments.  We can also help arrange pickup of items for donation to other local charities.
